Doctors reduced other lesions with different procedures. Fractures to the pyramidal bone of the right wrist and to the fifth metacarpal of the left hand were reduced and immobilized, while that of the left tibial plateau was reduced by arthroscopy.
The Pramac Racing driver relied on specialists Dr. Xavier Mir, Dr. David Campillo and Dr. Joan Carles Monllau at the Department of Traumatology (ICATME) of the Dexeus University Hospital in Barcelona. Now he will remain in the hospital under observation for 72 hours. Then return home and observe a few days of rest and begin rehabilitation. In Jerez, there will be Tito Rabat in his place. The goal will be to return for the Italian GP at Mugello.
