All Japan: Yamaha Motor Racing Factory unveils its bike for 2019 season

During the event held at Sepang, Yamaha Factory unveiled its R1 machine for 2019 All Japan Superbike campaign, as the Japanese manufacturer wants to repeat successful 2018 season. About the riders, eight times All Japan Champion Katsuyuki Nakasuga will share the box with Kohta Nozane.

#1 rider Katsuyuki Nakasuga will face the new season with only one goal on his mind: his ninth title in JSB1000 class. The Yamaha MotoGP Test Rider boasts eight championship titles and 46 wins in his name and he’s still hungry for more…

The team-mate of Nakasuga will be once again Kohta Nozane. The young Jap will face his second full-time JSB1000 season in a row, as he will not compete in international championships. Nozane set the fastest lap at the test hosted at Sepang.

Yamaha Factory Racing Team will regularly attend Suzuka 8 Hours. The squad aims for its fifth consecutive win at the event and probably, Nakasuga will once again share the R1 with WorldSBK riders Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark.
