ARRC: SuperSports 600cc class may welcome Adam Norrodin

After remaining out of job in Moto3 World Championship, the career of Adam Norrodin will restart at national level. The Malaysian rider is still part of Petronas-SIC team and next year he will compete with them in CEV Moto2. We remind you that, in 2019, Petronas-SIC will be in all MotoGP World Championship classes: MotoGP (Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo), Moto2 (Khairul Idham Pawi) and Moto3 (Ayumu Sasaki and John McPhee).

According to the team’s plan, Norrodin should gain experience in CEV before coming back to World Championship, but this time in Moto2. However, the 20-year-old rider from Johor may also race in ARRC SuperSports 600cc, where he would join Zulfahmi Khairuddin’s ZK Racing Team.

All this would enable Norrodin to gain valuable experience on 600cc motorcycles and Razlan Razali, Sepang International Circuit CEO and Petronas SRT “architect”, has already approved such program. “For what concerns Adam, we’ve planned his participation in two championships: CEV and ARRC SuperSports 600cc“, said Razali to BH Online. “He’ll race in Asian Championship with Zulfahmi Khairuddin’s team, while in CEV Moto2 he’ll be joined by another rider, that will be announced shortly”.
