CEV Moto2 Aragón, Race 2: Double win for Edgar Pons

Double victory for Edgar Pons in Aragón, as he manager to win also in Race 2, closely followed by Championship leader Jesko Raffin, second again ahead of Hector Garzó.

Great initial start for the poleman, same as Raffin and Garzó, while Tulovic and Marcon loses some positions. During the second lap the race was stopped by a red flag: Anin crashed, but his bike remained in the middle of the track and must be removed. Ekky Pratama also fell in a similar accident.

After the pause, action starts again again, but for only ten laps. Edgar Pons leads the ‘race 2’, ahead of Raffin and WIMU CNS riders, but Tulovic’s races finished soon because of a crash. In just some laps the first three riders gets a great advantage, while Miquel Pons, Alcoba, Zaccone, Cardelús and Marcon battle for the fourth place.

Edgar Pons gains the second victory of the day, this time not with a large gap but closely followed by Jesko Raffin, while Hector Garzó is third again. Fourth place for Marc Alcoba, who wins the battle ahead of Tommaso Marcon, Miquel Pons, Xavier Cardelús and Alessandro Zaccone. Matthias Meggle and Marcel Brenner close the top ten, while in Superstock 600 Fischer gets the victory, while Race 1 winner Zetti is second.
