CEV Moto2 Valencia, Race: An unstoppable Raffin at Ricardo Tormo Circuit

The Swiss Innovative Investors Junior rider Raffin conquers a great success in Valencia with a clear-cut advantage over all his opponents, starting from Edgar Pons and Augusto Fernandez, with him on the podium.

Valencia sees an incredible and uncatchable Jesko Raffin: not only he got the pole position, but he also managed to win the race with a large margin, gaining his second success of the season and strengthening his leadership. Together with him on the podium are his fellow countrymen Edgar Pons and Augusto Fernandez. Tommaso Marcon and Alessandro Zaccone finished in the top 10.

Torecillas had some troubles on the starting grid, and he had to push his bike back to the pit lane. Meanwhile, poleman Raffin had a great kick off, followed by Pons, while Tulovic’s race lasted just for a few rounds because, despite starting from the first row, he fell right after the beginning. The Moto2 group also lost both Federico Menozzi and James Flitcroft during the first round. Marcon and Zaccone jumped ahead and finished in the top 10, 5th and 7th respectively, while Garzo and Fernandez fought for the 3rd place.

Jesko Raffin kept an exceptional pace winning his second race of the season after Race 2 at Estoril. Edgar Pons is also on the podium, coming from two very problematic races in Portugal. Augusto Fernandez finished 3rd winning over Hector Garzo. Tommaso Marco got the 5th place, ahead of Dimas Ekky Pratama and the fellow countryman Alessandro Zaccone. In the final positions of the top 10, there are Miquel Pons, Corentin Perolari, and Marcel Brenner.
