MotoGP, Portimao: Marc Marquez is back in business!

MotoGP Marquez

Marc Marquez talks about his MotoGP comeback in Portimao. “Step by step we are coming back, we worked really hard for this goal”

MotoGP says welcome back to Marc Marquez. The 8-time World Champion is finally back in business and will be racing in Portugal this weekend. Nine months later the horrific injury had in Jerez which forced him to miss the whole 2020 season, Marc Marquez jumps back on his Honda HRC.

It will probably not be an easy return, but the most important thing is to have again him on track.

“It’s a fantastic feeling to come back”, admits Marquez. “We worked really hard to be able to reach this goal. Our desire was to be in Qatar as well, but doctors did not recommend me to do it too early”.

Portimao will be a first time for him as he never rode a MotoGP there: “I have experience in Portugal as I tested in Portimao with the RC213V-S, but I just want to work well during the weekend. Step by step we will comeback”
