Test days for Thiumph at MotorLand Aragón

Some private tests in Aragón today and tomorrow: Triumph is back on track with test rider Julián Simón, while some Moto2 and Moto3 riders works for the next races.

Lot of work in these days at the MotorLand Aragón in Spain, home of the 14th round of the MotoGP World Championship and today and tomorrow of some private test. Triumph too is back of track to test for 2019, when the British manufacturer will become the unique engine supplier in Moto2.

For the next season a great revolution expects the intermediate category in the World Championship: teams won’t use Honda 600cc engine anymore, replaced by Triumph 765cc one. Another stage of test programme starts today in Aragón, with the first full ECU and new 765cc engine shakedown test on track done by ex Moto2 rider Julián Simón. Other tests will take place on June.

Not only Thiumph on track, as some Moto2 and Moto3 riders are back on action too for two days of private tests. Between them, Sky Racing VR46 riders from both categories and Moto2 rookie Romano Fenati (Marinelli Snipers), while Moto3 Spanish rider Jorge Martin prefers to rest after dramatic Jerez crash.
