New colors for Gresini Racing which switch from blue to red for Moto3 and Moto2 2021 season with Jeremy Alcoba, Gabriel Rodrigo, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Nicolò Bulega
While Fausto Gresini is still fighting against Covid-19 in hospital being recovered, his team unveiled new bikes for Moto2 and Moto3 2021 season. The whole crew was not sure about making the official presentation today, but after a discussion they decided to make the team launch as planned.
That meant we did not see Fausto Gresini directly but just the riders and some members of the team. Of course, there were the riders as well, with Jeremy Alcoba and Gabriel Rodrigo unveiling their Moto3 bikes, while Nicolò Bulega and Fabio Di Giannantonio showed their Moto2 one.
There is an important news regarding Moto3 team as the denomination is now “Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3 Team” thanks to the new partnership made from Gresini with Indonesian Racing. At the same time, new sponsor brought new colors at the bikes as we can see from the photos.
The usual blue which was the main color in Gresini’s bike was replaced with a lot of red in all four bikes. We can see a dominant red in Moto3 bikes, while on Moto2 side we have still the white with Federal Oil being the main sponsor.
Jeremy Alcoba: “My first desire is for the boss to recover fully. I really look forward to discover new circuits, the goal is to improve our Saturday performance. We’re ready to battle for top position and the new look of the Honda is very captivating.”
Gabriel Rodrigo: “2020 was intense with many problems, I have to leave all behind me. I did a full reset, I’m eager to start again. The goal is to be a real title contender, we will work hard to be ready for that. The most important thing is to have Fausto with us as soon as possible, we need him.”
Nicolò Bulega: “We worked well during the winter, the goal is to be consistent. I am still recovering from the shoulder injury, but I’m happy with the progress we made. I don’t know how Fausto is feeling, but surely his situation is not easy. I can only send him the most positive energy.”
Fabio Di Giannantonio: “I cannot wait to try the new Kalex, I missed the last two 2020 tests due to a small injury. Me knee is now fully healed, I’m almost 100% fit. I want to step up and being in the top positions every weekend. We need to do our best for ourselves and for Fausto: he won’t give up, he’ll be back stronger!”
