Enea Bastianini registered the best absolute time this Friday, concluding his day with a leading position ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo and Nicolò Bulega.
Friday at the MotorLand Aragón ends with a really competitive Enea Bastianini, heading both the FP2 ranking and the combined one. The Leopard Racing rider is followed by Gabriel Rodrigo and Nicolò Bulega, with the current World Championship leader Jorge Martín 4th and Marco Bezzecchi 9th.
In the first few minutes of this round, the Italian riders together with Rodrigo (again on track after falling during FP1) took up the leading positions even though the first recorded times were much slower than the ones in the morning and had very little influence of the overall combined ranking. These guys gave us the chills right away when Bulega, Arbolino and Antonelli had to take a long ride out of the track to avoid crashing.
The “final battle” lead to a number of changes, but eventually, Enea Bastianini took the lead again and won the 1st place ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo and Nicolò Bulega. Jorge Martín closed the round 4th, followed by Niccolò Antonelli and Aron Canet, with Lorenzo Dalla Porta 7th ahead of Kazuki Masaki, Marco Bezzecchi and John McPhee.
