The Qualifying round at the MotorLand Aragón ends with the 9th pole position of the season for Jorge Martín, who also registered the best overall time with a great 1:57.066. The Spanish rider made an awesome final lap, leaving Jaume Masiá more than half a second behind. Enea Bastianini will be sharing with them the front row. The unmissable Moto3 race will start on Sunday, September 23 at 11.00 AM.

At the end of the pèrevious round, Niccolò Antonelli got a penalty for irresponsible driving during FP3 that downranked him of 12 positions. He was too slow in more than three sectors of the track, and in the way of other riders. In the meanwhile, after a number of changes, the situations stabilized with Rodrigo temporarily taking the lead ahead of Foggia and Martín, while the two teammates Toba and Atiratphuvapat hit each other and went both down on Turn 3. The Japanese rider seemed very much in pain when he stood up again.

The final assault gave a clear-cut victory to Jorge Martín, who wins the pole position again ahead of Jaume Masiá and Enea Bastianini. An all-Italian second row, with Tony Arbolino followed by the rookie Dennis Foggia and by Marco Bezzecchi. Niccolò Antonelli closed the round 7th but the penalty will cost him 12 positions. Just behind, Gabriel Rodrigo, Aron Canet and Fabio Di Giannantonio filled up the remaining positions in the top 10.
