
After a 2018 season punctuated with some podiums, the CIP-Green Power Team of Alain Bronec went to Italy in order to officially launch the 2019 season in Moto3. The presentation took place on February, 1st in the headquarters of Green Power Company in Pesaro, Italy. This season will be a learning phase for the British rookie Tom Booth-Amos. Darryn Binder will start his fifth season in Grand Prix.
The French team from Alès, France, still has KTM and their main sponsor Green Power (Epta group societies’) extends its partnership for the new season. The company is the leader on the generator’s international market and is joined by Unicom Starker, a society specialized in the selling of ceramic material of premium quality. Those major partnerships are a very strong support for the team to perform throughout the year.
The South African rider, Darryn Binder is one of the new recruit of the CIP-Green Power Team for the 2019 season. Aged of 21 years old, he rides in Grand Prix since 2015. After a 17th place in the world standing and a third place in Japan in 2018, he really wants to continue on this path and to add new podiums to his list. His knowledge of the category and the bike will be a strong argument for him to fight in the front group and to reach the final Top-5.
Tom Booth-Amos is one of the nine rookies of the year in Moto3. The 2017 Moto3 Motostar British Champion had the opportunity to compete during the 2017 Silverstone Grand Prix as a wildcard, this allowed him to discover the very high level of the category for the first time. His 2018 season in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 World Championship was interrupted by injuries. Now, Tom can’t wait to discover the Moto3 World Championship and to show what he can do.
The first private tests will take place in Valencia on February, 6th and 7th 2019. It will be the time for the team to launch the 2019 season and to have a working base for the year to come.
