MotoGP: Andrea Dovizioso renews with Ducati for two more seasons

Already Andrea Dovizioso had said that a deal with Ducati was very close and today the team has confirmed it on social media: the rider from Forlì will race two more seasons with the manufacturer based in Borgo Panigale. The official verbal announcement will take place today during a special press conference scheduled at 17:00.

This represents the extension of a collaboration started in 2013. Those times were very tough for the team, but later they started collecting results and also Andrea Dovizioso did: in 2016 he scored his first win with Ducati and in 2017, thanks also to six victories (some of them after unforgettable duels), he fought for the title till the last race, when finally Marc Marquez became World Champion.

This renewal till 2020 grants the prosecution of a successful 100% Italian bike-team-rider partnership and this may lead Dovizioso to fight for the MotoGP title again.
