Marc Marquez’s abscence for the whole 2020 has been surely tough for the whole MotoGP, but especially Honda which a lot considering track results.
At the same time, Japanese team lost a lot of money as well due to Marquez’s injury.
We should consider also that 2020 has been a tough year on the financial aspect as the Covid-19 pandemic forced to drastic decisions.

The Spanish daily ‘AS’ reported that Marc Marquez was ready to disclaim his salary (€15 million). The Spaniard asked to Honda to renounce at his money, but it seems that the Japanese Team refused the intention of the rider. Of course, Honda appreciated what Marquez tried to do.

We still don’t have any other news from Honda about Marc Marquez’s conditions.
That means we could see Stefan Bradl in Qatar replacing him once again for the season opening alongside Pol Espargaro.
Meanwhile, Honda prepars the official presentation, meaning that we will see again Marc Marquez on Honda colors waiting to see him on a rider suit.

Rumors talk about Marquez trying to comeback in Qatar already, but it could be far from reality.
The Spaniard forced too much his recovery time last year.
Probably he will back in action only when he will be sure to be 100% fit.
Only time will tell when we’ll see agan Marc Marquez on track.
