MotoGP: Marc Márquez on his way to recovery

Marc Márquez had left shoulder surgery a little over one month ago and, according to El Mundo Deportivo, his recovery seems to go very well. The brace was taken off some days ago and the Spaniard shared on his Twitter a photo where he did some exercise, under the supervision of his physiotherapist Carlos García.

Based on what the Spanish newspaper reported, Márquez had his surgery last 4th December in Barcelona and it was performed by Dr. Victor Marlet and Teresa Marlet, members of Instituto Catalán de Traumatología y Medicina del Deporte (ICATME). The surgery, which was needed to fix left shoulder dislocation, took two hours and was successful. Marc spent three more days at the hospital and then he went back to Cervera to start a 6-week rehabilitation program. Four weeks have gone by and the recovery is going as planned: Marc is in good condition and the seven times World Champion is already back to training. The Catalan will be able to ride again in one week and his goal is to be fit for upcoming Sepang test.
