There is some change in the 2021 calendar of the MotoGP cadet class, the Red Bull Rookies Cup: it starts in Portugal, the stage at Assen removed. Here are all the news.

There are some news regarding the 2021 calendar of the cadet class of the MotoGP. Starting with tests and the start of the championship: no longer in Spain, Red Bull Rookie Cup will start instead in Portugal, precisely in Portimão. And the tests in early April will take place there and will be followed shortly after by the first two races of the year. All other stages moved forward except the round at TT Circuit Assen, which instead is removed from the calendar. We remember that it is always a provisional calendar, but let’s see in detail.

The action on the track was initially supposed to start on April 15-16 in Jerez de la Frontera. Test instead anticipated by a few days and moved to the Autódromo do Algarve, which on 17-18 of the month will officially see the start of the season with the first two races. In Andalucía, on the other hand, we go in May for the second stage of the year, while at the end of the month we will race at Mugello. Sachsenring follows a month later and momentarily confirmed the debut at KymiRing, which will be followed by the Red Bull Ring and the closing at MotorLand Aragón.
