
Jeffrey Herlings can’t stop. The Dutch KTM rider dominated also MXGP of Latvia, seventh 2018 round, and he beated Antonio Cairoli, who was secondo in both races. Now the gap between them is of 29 points. Third place for Gautier Paulin (Husqvarna).
DOUBLE – At Kegums we saw the same race twice. Antonio Cairoli started well ad took the lead also in Race 2 and he increased his advantage on Jeffrey Herlings. But in the second half everything changed: the Dutchmen rcovered many positions and performed many fast laps and so he caught and passed Cairoli as in Race 1. This is the 10th win in 14 races for the ex-MX2 World Champion. Now the gap between Herlings and Cairoli is of 29 points and the next round, taking place on 20th May at Teutschental (Germany) may be already decisive.
