Jeffrey Herlings may seriously miss MXGP of Lombardia, eleventh round of 2018 season, due to an injury. If he does, his rival Antonio Cairoli will have an important opportunity to close the gap from the Dutchman, who’s currently leading the standings with 62 points more than “TC #222”.
WHAT HAPPENED – Herlings has broken his right collarbone following a crash while he was training at Berghem, in the Netherlands. He has been hospitalized for further medical examination and he will soon undergo a surgery, by which Dr. Claes will insert a plate to reduce the fracture and make recovery shorter. Herlings will probably miss the GP taking place this weekend at Ottobiano and he will surely come back for the round after, scheduled on 1st July in Indonesia.
