Tony Cairoli dominated Race 1 at Ottobiano, where the 11th round of 2018 MXGP is taking place. The nine times World Champion came to the first corner before all the rest and then he escaped and won. After Race 1, the gap between him and championship leader Jeffrey Herlings, ruled out of the GP due to injury, went from 62 to 37 points.
DOMINION – Cairoli triumphed ahead of home crowd by beating Belgian Clement Desalle (Kawasaki) and Brit Max Anstie (Husqvarna), the latter scoring his first podium in current season. Last year “TC #222” managed to score an amazing double on home soil. Will he do it again?
