Supercross, Glendale: Blake Baggett “Victory feels fantastic”

Blake Baggett was the main protagonist of the race hosted at Glendale, Arizona. The Rocky Mountain KTM privateer scored his first win in 450SX after 67 races and 7 podium finishes.

The win of Baggett in Arizona was definitely unexpected, but it also represents the best reward for the hard work done by the guy from Grand Terrace, who had already scored remarkable results in spite of a not so competitive bike. We don’t know about you, but we wonder why no factory team have signed him yet…

Here you have Baggett’s thoughts about his win at Glendale: ”What feels so great is the fact that I was at the same level as the riders I fought with and kept Anderson’s pace when I was behind him. Sometimes I’m not as fast as such riders, but fortunately today it went different, as I even won the race. Now I must stay focused and keep working on it”.

Meanwhile, an update coming from Malcolm Stewart tells us that the Honda rider suffered a broken femur in his terrific crash during Main Event. A good news, if we consider that he was knocked unconscious…
