The strange relationship between Ken Roczen and Anaheim 2 AMA Supercross Round is going to live one more chapter at the third SX stop of 2019. The Honda factory rider from Germany will contest the second weekend on the Californian circuit in this season with the red plates on his 450SX machine. Once again, two years after…
In 2017, Ken Roczen went to Anaheim after he had dominated and won both the inaugural two rounds of the season, at his very first races on the 450SX bike made in HRC. However, the European suffered multiple left-arm fractures following a crash and such accident put an end to his 2017 campaign. 11 months after, he returned, surrounded by both hope and scepticism.
#94 rider came back to Anaheim 2 last year, with the same outfit that had brought him bad luck and prevented him from winning the championship the year before. Later, Roczen injured himself once again at San Diego, where he broke his right arm. Now, one more year after, Ken Roczen hopes to win Anaheim 2 round with the red plates on his Honda. It would be his first win since 14th January 2017, when he dominated in San Diego. Yes. the same track where he got injured last year…
Honda is hungry for win and revenge on KTM/Husqvarna and Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac and the man they rely on to reach this goal is Ken Roczen. Will the German finally make it?
