IDM Superbike: 2019 season calendar to consist of eight rounds

IDM Superbike will try to consolidate the growth lived last year with a 2019 campaign consisting of eight rounds. The fact that 2019 IDM races will be hosted in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Czech Republic strengthens the international character of the championship and the hard work done by Motorrad Action Team and DMSB has secured the presence in this year’s calendar of traditional IDM venues.

2019 season will start from 17th to 19th May at Eurospeedway Lausitz and then the championship will visit Oschersleben in the same weekend as FIM EWC 8-hour event. Later, the riders of the main motorcycle racing series in Germany will deal with summer by racing at Zolder, Nurburgring (Superbike class only), Schleizer Dreieck and Most (Czech Republic). The final two stages of the season will take place in September at Assen and Hockenheim.

IDM will be joined in three out of eight events by reborn ADAC Junior Cup. The single-brand series fielding KTM RC390R machines will allow young riders from 13 to 21 years of age to race in the same weekends as IDM at Lausitzring, Most and Hockenheim.
