Supersport: Sheridan Morais to replace Kenan Sofuoglu

Puccetti Kawasaki has announced who will replace Kenan Sofuoglu in the next two World Supersport Rounds, which will take place at Motorland Aragon (13th-15th April) and Assen (20th-22nd April). The Turkish rider, five times World Supersport Champion, will be replaced by the South African Sheridan Morais.

Morais will come back to WorldSSP after racing last year with Kallio Yamaha, with which he ranked fifth in championship standings and won the German Round at Lausitzring. Moreover, “Shez” will ride a Kawasaki ZX-6R again after six years, since this bike is the one he rode at his debut season in World Supersport back in 2012, when he raced with Lorenzini Kawasaki. “I got some good results and my first ever podium, so I have good memories” Morais said. The rider from Johannesburg has big goals for these two races: “I will try to get podium finishes, but also to win“.
