All-Italian first 3 positions in the second round of the free practice, with the best time by Enea Bastianini followed by his teammate Lorenzo Dalla Porta and then by Tony Arbolino.
The second round of free practice ends with clear-cut Italian supremacy: the Leopard Racing duo comes first, with Enea Bastianini ahead of Lorenzo Dalla Porta, but the last top position was conquered by Tony Arbolino. Activities on track will start again on Saturday at 2PM Italian time.
Everybody on track right away considering there are very high chances of rain: starting with Rodrigo’s rider who made a 1:51.112 that allowed him to maintain the first position for most of the round, ahead of Martin, Antonelli and Bastianini. But in the last few minutes we saw a more intense activity that led to major changes in the ranking.
Atiratphuvapat gave us the chills falling on Turn 10, but luckily the riders just behind him managed to avoid him. Enea Bastianini stands out, with the best absolute time of the day 1:50.397, followed four-tenths after by Lorenzo Dalla Porta and Tony Arbolino. Fourth place for Livio Loi ahead of Jorge Martin, Kaito Toba and Gabriel Rodrigo.
Eighth place for Adam Norrodin ahead of Niccolò Antonelli and Nakarin Atiratphuvapat. Here the other Italian riders’ positions: Andrea Migno 16°, Fabio Di Giannantonio 21° ahead of Dennis Foggia and Marco Bezzecchi, while Nicolò Bulega comes 26°.
