At the official team presentation that took place before the start of the season, Puccetti Kawasaki had announced that Leon Haslam would have joined Toprak Razgatlioglu at Imola. But after some negotiations, the Team Owner Manuel Puccetti has confirmed that “Pocket Rocket” will participate with the Italian team also in World Superbike UK Round, which will take place at Donington Park.
Leon Haslam will race at Imola with a special livery, created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Elf (long-standing partner of Kawasaki). At Donington Park, instead, the Brit will wear the usual green and black distinguishing Puccetti Kawasaki and he will participate in his home round after last season’s wild card appearance with Puccetti, when he finished Race 1 in second place behind Tom Sykes.
