Supersport 300 Assen, Superpole: Pole with crash for Mika Pérez

At the end of an exciting Superpole, the pole position went to Mika Pérez. The Spanish rider took the lead halfway Superpole 2 with a laptime of 1’50.165 and later he crashed in the very final stages while he was going even faster. The Spaniard’s crash, together with the one involving Mykyta Kalinin (both riders uninjured), forced the other riders to slow down and so Pérez took his fourth pole position in WorldSSP300.

Pérez will start from the first row together with Motorland Aragon race winner Koen Meuffels and Ana Carrasco, while Meuffels’ countrymen Glenn van Straalen and Robert Schotman will start from the second row together with South African Dorren Loureiro. Scott Deroue contended with 7th place after ranking first in FPs and so he will start from the third row joined by Borja Sánchez and Luca Grünwald. Fourth row for Galang Hendra Pratama, Mykyta Kalinin and María Herrera.
