Chaz Davies, who won six times in Aragon, ranked first in the early stages of FP2, before being overtaken during the last few minutes by Marco Melandri, Jonathan Rea (who leads the championship by just 2 points) and Tom Sykes, who finished third after a lap behind Chaz Davies.

THE REST – 5th place for the Yamaha rider Michael van der Mark, followed by MV Agusta’s Jordi Torres and Xavi Fores.
