Superbike Brno, Warm Up: Jonathan Rea ranks first

Warm Up session at Brno saw Jonathan Rea topping the standings once again. The new all-time race win record holder (yesterday he reached 60 wins and beated Carl Fogarty) took the lead in the early stages by riding in 1’59.150 and then he improved till performing a lap in 1’59.025.

The second fastest man on the track was Aruba.it Ducati’s Michael Rinaldi (1’59.509), followed by Alex Lowes (1’59.745), Tom Sykes (2’00.026) and Michael van der Mark (2’00.075). Just 6th and 10th place for Ducati’s Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri.

We remind you that Race 2 will take place today at 13:00 local time and that Michael van der Mark will start from pole position after ranking 4th in yesterday’s race. The Dutch Pata Yamaha rider will be joined in first row by his team-mate Alex Lowes and Eugene Laverty (5th and 6th in Race 1). Here’s the full Rae 2 starting grid.
