Superbike Donington: Luke Mossey joins Pedercini Racing

Important news ahead of Donington Park race weekend, the sixth one of 2018 World Superbike Championship. Pedercini Racing’s Yonny Hernandez will not take part in Prosecco DOC UK Round because of bureaucratic issues. The ex-MotoGP rider hasn’t got the visa to come to Great Britain and so he will have to sit out and miss the two races, scheduled on 26 th and 27th May.

This problem forced Pedercini Racing to replace Hernandez with British Superbike star Luke Mossey, who had already been alerted yesterday. Born in 1992, Mossey (who scored two wins at Brands Hatch last year) will make his debut in World Superbike in front of home crowd. Here’s what Lucio Pedercini said about him: “First of all, Luke will have to adapt to WorldSBK electronics, much different compared to BSB, then let’s see what he can do.
