Yes, because who topped WUP at Donington Park is Toprak Razgatlioglu. The young Turkish rider performed a very good lap in the final minutes of the session and his time of 1’27.611 led him to first place ahead of Jonathan Rea, who had been the best for most of the 15-minute practice. Finally the three times World Champion finished second with one lap in 1’27.720, followed by his team-mate Tom Sykes (1’27.807).
Eugene Laverty ranked fourth in front of Alex Lowes and Chaz Davies (looking for comeback after the disaster in Race 1), while yesterday’s great winner Michael van der Mark ended up 7th followed by Leon Haslam, Lorenzo Savadori and Leon Camier. 18th place for Bradley Ray, surprisingly 14th in Race 1 on a BSB-spec Suzuki, while Luke Mossey, Gino Rea and Mason Law finished from 23rd to 25th place.
