World Superbike Ducati riders are ready to test their bikes tomorrow in Misano, but there will face Chaz Davies and Team Go Eleven absence due to Covid-19 restrictions
While we are waiting for the next official test session, Superbike tries to make something and prepare a private test. Ducati will be on track from tomorrow in Misano to test something, but the crew of Borgo Panigale has to face Chaz Davies and Team Go Eleven’s forfeit. We’ll see then Scott Redding and Michael Ruben Rinaldi for the Factory Aruba team, while Tito Rabat will make his debut with Barni Racing Team.
Not every member of the crew is able to join the guys in Misano, that’s why Chaz Davies and Team Go Eleven will miss the test: “Due to trip’s restrictions some members of the team couldn’t arrive in Italy. That’s why Chaz Davies and Ducati are going to miss and save one test day for the rest of the season. We miss racing, we want to comeback working with all the guys, so Chaz Davies’ debut is just delayed”. We should remember that every Superbike crew has a limited day of testing, so it would not be good to throw one for anything.
The best option was so to delay this private test, trying to organize another one in the future. Probably Team Go Eleven will make one day before the beginning of the championship, otherwise they could make something in the Summer break. “We really wanted to join the guys in Misano, but this is the first test for us. It would be important to have the full staff as we want to work all together for the same goal”
