Superbike is preparing to welcome Tito Rabat. Unfortunately the Spaniard has not yet had the opportunity to make his debut on track. The bad weather forced him and his team to stay in the box and thus postpone their debut. This year Tito will ride his new Ducati Panigale V4 R: a thrilling challenge for him and the whole Superbike.
His carreer was full of ups and downs in the recent seasons in MotoGP but this time it will be different. The Spaniard will have a Ducati 2021 version, as admitted by Team Principal Marco Barnabò. “We bought the 2021 bike, it will be the same as the official for 99%. He will not miss anything and we’ll work for him so he can do well.” Barnabò admits in an interview with worldsbk.com. Full confidence on Tito, who will have an important opportunity to relaunch himself.
TITO RABAT: “IF I SHOW I CAN STAY AT THE FRONT IN SUPERBIKE, I WILL HAVE EVERYTHING”.
“I’m happy and motivated and looking forward to what will happen. I think it’s a new opportunity to stay at the front, feel the adrenaline, feel that you can do big things”, said Tito Rabat. For sure the 2021 Superbike rookie will have a lot of motivation: “They told me that if I show I can win races, stay at the front, for sure I will have everything, all the material for staying at the front.”
Rabat also discussed his goals for the season. “I want to go step by step. The biggest step comes with small things and I’m looking to make all the steps before the first race.”
