Supersport Assen: Injury for Anthony West

Anthony West, 36 years of age, was involved in a serious crash during World Supersport FP1 at Assen and the session was interrupted with red flag to allow the medical staff to aid the Australian rider.

West, who is stable and conscious, was taken to Medical Centre and due to concussion and right wrist fracture he has been declared unfit for the rest of the weekend. West had ranked 13th in FP1, session which saw Randy Krummenacher leading in front of Sandro Cortese and Jules Cluzel, with home hero Rob Hartog in 4th place.
