Supersport: Ezequiel Iturrioz replaces Lachlan Epis at Go Eleven Kawasaki

After scoring no points in the first four 2018 World Supersport rounds, Lachlan Epis won’t contest the remainder of the season with Go Eleven Kawasaki. The young Aussie will be replaced by the Argentinian Ezequiel Iturrioz, who will join Go Eleven already at the upcoming Imola Round, taking place from 11th till 13th May.

Born in 1990, Iturrioz already raced in World Supersport back in 2015 and two years before he took part in some races of Moto2 World Championship. This year he started the season in Supermoto European Championship with Suzuki Grau.

For me it’s a honour to represent Argentina in this championship – said Iturrioz in Go Eleven’s press release – and the fact World Supersport will race for the first time in my country makes it even more special. It will be a big challenge for me and I will have to work very hard to adapt as fast as possible, also because I haven’t raced at this level for a while. But I will push hard to be competitive as soon as possible.

Ezequiel Iturrioz will represent his country also at the first WorldSBK Argentinian Round, which will take place at El Villicum from 12th to 14th October.
