Victor Steeman is ready for his first full season in Supersport 300 World Championship. The former Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup contestant will ride alongside Jan-Ole Jähnig, Maximilian Kappler and compatriot Koen Meuffels inside KTM Freudenberg WorldSSP Team. Steeman already participated in two World Supersport 300 races last year, when he replaced injured Meuffels at both Portimao and Magny Cours rounds.
Unfortunately, those two events did not go well (he scored 15th place in Portimao and DNF in France), but the Dutchman is ready for 2019 campaign. In a video shared by Team Freudenberg on their Facebook page, Steeman talks about his goals for this new adventure: “It’s hard to say what I expect, because the two races I did last year went not so well. Anyway, I hope to finish in the top 10 and I will do my best to reach this goal“. The youngster already enjoys being part of his new home: “I expect to have a cool time. We already had a test together in Almería and I think that they’re very professional. They look like a big family and I expect to do a good job together with them“.
In conclusion, Steeman talked about the fact he’ll be in a four-rider lineup: “For me, it’s totally different, as I had never experienced this before. In any case, I think it will be great and all together we’ll push hard to get results“.
